The Role
This is an exciting permanent opportunity, based in Nelson, for a smart, experienced, capable, Business Analyst to shape and improve Sealord business outcomes. It provides you with the chance to help lead business support and transformation activities as part of a talented internal team.
This role is central to the development and application of IT systems within our planning, sales, purchasing and finance business areas. This is a strategic appointment for the Sealord IT team, critical in supporting existing business systems and meeting new requirements.

Understanding and continuously improving Sealord business processes.

Applying your knowledge of data and systems.

Capturing clear customer, product, and system requirements.

Problem solving and stakeholder support.

Leading workshops and exploring solution design options.

Leadership in the use and support of Sealord ERP (Infor M3) and reporting systems.
Who we are looking for
To be successful in this role, in addition to all the standard BA skills, critical for success are:

Significant knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

ERP experience, ideally working with a process manufacturing company running Infor M3.

Outstanding ability to positively and effectively engage with people across all levels.

Being flexible, optimistic and highly adaptable to changing environments and priorities.

You will be able to translate business and customer needs into technology solutions, understand and solve ERP design and usage problems, and be experienced in requirements analysis, process mapping, creation of user stories and running workshops.

Understanding and interest in data warehouses and business intelligence.
In summary, this is a broad, senior role with responsibilities spanning finance, manufacturing, ERP and reporting. It will report to the Group IT Manager and work alongside other BAs as well as the wider IT team, technology partners, and subject matter experts.
