Requirements:

• Chef qualification a preference
• Proven experience in quality cooking, food preparation and planning,  plus volume based cooking
• Food safety skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork plus the ability to lead the galley operations
• This is a permanent position so you will need to reside in New Zealand on a permanent basis

  
The Cook is an important member for the whole crew on a vessel.  The cook is responsible for the physical health and well-being for the whole crew. The role provides crew with suitable meals at required times which are nutritious and to manage the cost of supplying these meals so that it falls within budget, ensure that th Galley operations are managed to the highest safety and compliance standards at all times.
