The Role
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Ellerslie, Auckland. We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager who is adaptable, confident, and innovative as well as being great at communicating and building relationships. This is a pivotal role which has a significant impact on the performance of our company.
As the Foodstuffs North Island Business Manager you will be responsible for managing all head office-based relationships with Foodstuffs North Island negotiations and developing and implementing strategies to deliver sales and profit targets. This role will also have responsibility for our major Fertilizer and Pet Food customers in NZ

We need you to be more than a sales superstar, we need you to lead, coach and mentor others to help us deliver more than the sum of its parts.
The “hands on” nature of this role will appeal and allow you to have an inherent understanding of the issues facing your customers and the team. Your creativity, follow through and superior negotiation skills will allow you to lead from the front as you make an impact on the business financially and culturally.
You also need to have a relaxed demeanour, strong sense of teamwork, a demonstrated ability to work consultatively with your peers, and openness to learn at the same time as sharing your knowledge with the wider team.
Previous Woolworths and/ or Foodstuffs Key Account Management in a multi-category business is essential along with a demonstrated track record of trade spend management.
