Currently we have the opportunity for an experienced 2nd Engineer for FV Thomas Harrison.  This is a Fresher Fishing Vessel with trip lengths of 2-4 weeks trip on and 2-4 weeks trip off.  You will have a minimum of a MEC 6 or 5 qualification along with proven experience in managing the mechanical and electrical performance of the vessels  propulson, fishing, processing and ancillary systems, in a safe and efficient manner, self motivated to work independently with excellent problem solving skills and a commitment to preventative maintenance systems. The hours worked are generally done in shifts of 12 hours, PPE and tools supplied, and all meals provided by our experienced cook.
